Chapter 2057 Challenge 4

Chapter 2057  Challenge 4

Some of the onlooking acolytes marveled at what seemed like Dillion's ability to vanquish his adversary in a single blow. However, Dillion remained composed, knowing that the battle was far from over. "Don't play around, get up!" his voice commanding and resolute.

The bear-transformed acolyte slowly regained his footing, the wounds from Dillion's blow visibly healing before the spectators' eyes. Despite the pain, a smirk graced the bear's face as he acknowledged Dillion's strength with a hint of admiration. "Dillion… you are a monster indeed," he remarked, his voice tinged with both respect and amusement.

Undeterred, Dillion raised his massive sword once more, his gaze steely as he prepared for the next exchange. With a powerful swing, he brought the blade crashing down upon his opponent, who barely managed to raise both arms in defense. The impact reverberated through the arena with a sickening sound of broken bone, causing the bear acolyte to stagger back several steps, visibly grimacing in pain.

Despite the injury, the bear acolyte showed no signs of faltering as he swiftly regained his composure. With a determined growl, he extended his arm, the broken bones miraculously healing before their eyes. Nôv(el)B\\jnn

"Let's see how long you can stand this!" Dillion exclaimed as he prepared to charge once again. With a fierce growl, the bear acolyte accepted the challenge, his resolve unshaken. Stomping his foot against the ground, he charged forward once more, ready to meet Dillion's relentless assault head-on.

The clash between Dillion and the bear acolyte was relentless, each blow resonating through the arena with thunderous force. Despite Dillion's overwhelming strength and skill, his opponent refused to yield, standing firm against the onslaught.

For the spectators, it seemed like a one-sided battle, with Dillion dominating the fight with his colossal sword and sheer determination. However, the bear acolyte displayed an incredible resilience, enduring blow after blow with astonishing fortitude.

Emery, observing the fight with a keen eye, recognized the tactics at play and calmly explained them to the bewildered acolytes. The bear acolyte was a master of body transformation, and this particular form endowed him with Blood Bear ability, a legendary creature that grants him formidable defense and unparalleled vitality. His thick, sturdy muscles absorbed much of Dillion's attacks, while his rapid regeneration allowed him to recover from even the most devastating blows.

It became clear that this was another strategic move by Hall 68, employing a variety of tactics to disadvantage Dillion before the final showdown. From the previous lightning-fast speedster to the endurance-focused bear acolyte, each opponent was carefully chosen to test Dillion's limits and wear him down before the ultimate confrontation.

The bear acolyte proved to be a formidable opponent, able to withstand and counter every fifth blow from Dillion's relentless assault. It took nearly 50 strikes before the bear acolyte seemed to reach his limit, swaying unsteadily on his feet as he struggled to maintain his stance.

Despite his obvious exhaustion, the bear acolyte was compelled to continue fighting as Instructor Aspen withheld any signal to stop the match. With each additional blow from Dillion, the bear acolyte's regeneration was pushed to its limit, straining under the relentless barrage.

Finally, as Dillion raised his sword in challenge to the last remaining fighter, he taunted with biting words. "Are you that afraid to fight me?"

This provocation prompted Instructor Aspen to signal for the bear acolyte to surrender. In his place, a tough-looking, dark-haired acolyte named Sylar stepped forward, exuding an air of confidence as he entered the arena. He cast a disdainful glance at his fallen teammate, sneering, "Huh! Can't even stand for 10 minutes. Useless fool!"

As Sylar approached Dillion, he left behind two illusory duplicates of himself, creating a trio of identical, arrogant-looking acolytes wielding sharp, one-edged swords. Known as "Syler the Multiplier," he held the prestigious rank of 98 in the academy.

"I am glad I got a chance to prove that lower realms like you don't deserve a top 100 spot," Sylar taunted, his voice dripping with contempt.

Undeterred, Dillion raised his massive sword defiantly. "Come, give it a try," he challenged.

With a synchronized motion, all three Sylar clones surrounded Dillion, their swords igniting with blazing flames before they simultaneously charged at him. Dillion responded with a mighty stomp, causing the ground to tremble as he unleashed the full force of his strength, his massive blade arcing in a powerful rotation.

One duplicate agilely sidestepped, another leaped backward to evade, and the third soared into the air. Reacting swiftly, Dillion charged toward the airborne duplicate, his massive sword arcing in a fierce vertical swing that sent shockwaves rippling through the ground. The earth trembled as the duplicate was driven forcefully into the ground, creating a small crater upon impact. Dust and debris billowed into the air, momentarily obscuring the scene.

But before he could deliver a decisive blow, the remaining two duplicates intercepted him, their movements synchronized with uncanny precision. With blades ablaze with fiery energy, they launched a coordinated assault.

Dillion, undeterred by the odds stacked against him, braced himself for the onslaught. With lightning-fast reflexes, he parried the strikes of one duplicate while simultaneously evading the lunges of the other. His movements were a masterful blend of offense and defense, each motion calculated to maximize his chances of survival.

As the battle raged on, the air crackled with tension, and the acolytes watched in awe at the spectacle unfolding before them. Despite facing three adversaries of equal skill and strength, Dillion remained steadfast, his resolve unyielding as he fought with unmatched determination.

Emery used the chance to elucidate the intricate details of Sylar's technique, and the acolytes listened intently, their eyes widening with understanding. Each duplicate, a near-perfect replica of the original, possessed the agility and strength of a seasoned mid stage-rank 9 acolyte. This level of mastery in duplication was a testament to Sylar's formidable skill.

With each swing of their blazing swords, the duplicates danced around Dillion, their movements fluid and precise. They darted in and out of his range, constantly probing for weaknesses in his defenses. Whenever an opportunity presented itself, one of the duplicates would spring forward, launching a devastating sword slash aimed at Dillion's exposed flank.

Amidst the chaos of battle, the duplicates exchanged mocking remarks, their voices filled with arrogance and disdain.

"Haha, is this really the rank 96 Dillion?"

"He doesn't seem that strong."

"Yes, he was just lucky to find an easy match in the preliminaries."

Despite their disparaging words, Dillion remained focused, his concentration unwavering as he deftly countered their relentless onslaught.
